VooDoo Softball

The Juggernaut softball team is currently 1-5. Although the team is named after the Echo Co., 1-244 mascot, a few of the team members are from HHC and Delta Company. The games are played on Saturday and Sunday and are just one of the few ways our deployed Soldiers can unwind during precious off duty hours.

The season began with an eye-opening tournament appearance in which the team got a real good look at the team to beat in the Balad Softball League. After a gallant effort, which included the coach slamming his head into the outfield fence attempting to run down one of several balls to go over the fence, the team finished the tournament after the first game. The Juggernauts have been making steady improvement since that team-building experience.

The Fall season is winding down and culminates with a season ending tournament where the Juggernauts look to at least double their efforts they put forth in the season opener.
