Soldiers of the 834th Aviation Support Battalion, Task Force 34, work with the Air Force during a C-5 load-out at Joint Base Balad, Iraq, on Oct. 11, 2008. 834th ASB Soldiers and Airmen alike help in loading a CH-47 Chinook helicopter into the immaculate Air Force C-5 jet. The Chinook has completed a tour of duty in Iraq and is on its way back to Germany where it resides. The 834th ASB Soldiers have completed many successful load-outs of Chinooks, as well as UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters, but not without the help of the Air Force and their massive cargo planes, the smaller C-17 and the much larger C-5 (pictured).
